Northwest Washington Regional Focus

Funding Types

We fund capital campaigns or equipment projects or purchases that provide for long term sustainability for the organization with a minimum of 70% raised. Please review the FAQ page for more eligibility details. If you recently received funding, you must wait 2 years to reapply. If you recently applied but were denied funding, you are eligible to reapply.

The foundation does not fund program support or general operating support.  Unfortunately, we do not provide grants to school foundations or PTAs.

Grant Timeline

The Foundation runs a quarterly grant cycle. Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis. Grant cycle deadlines for 2026 listed below. Applications are due by the end of the day. Application open date is one month prior to application deadline.

2026 Grant Cycle Deadlines:

• Quarter 1:
  Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
  Application Review: Wednesday, March 18, 2026
• Quarter 2:
  Application Deadline: May 25, 2026
  Application Review: Wednesday, June 10, 2026- Rescheduled to July 1, 2026
• Quarter 3:
  Application Deadline: September 7, 2026
  Application Review: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
• Quarter 4:
  Application Deadline: November 23, 2026
  Application Review: Wednesday, December 9, 2026
